Hello Folks,

I think this will never stop and come back again with new faces. Yes, my dear friends i am talking about a new scam. I don't know why people are interested in making money via shortcuts. Is the way to success is too much hard. Or they like to have all in short period of time?

These question comes in my mind everyday and I am into the habit of posting against these bloody rascals. Guess what, I receive a call from Mr. Mariner Pranab- guy who called himself a entrepreneur. This stupid jerk called me and told me that he had a inbound campaign without any charges. I was surprised because how he get a inbound process. Is inbound campaigns are that much easy to get OR Clients are entertaining some vendors in-spite of Tycoons. Well its was nice to hear that someone is outsourcing without any charges. But how it will be, the real image have to be revealed!!! After this conversation he called me again and told me to send him the documents(attached in the link). At last I came to know the real truth that was they are not taking any fee but demanding some charges for IT work i.e. Installation of servers, cloud computing and Cisco networking etc and for all these he demanded 5 lac. There is one more twist, he told me to pay only 15% of these charges and rest will be deduct from the billing. I said fine as i am getting 15 days advance billing so there is no harm in paying that much amount, although it's not from my pocket.  But he came to know that I am not a small fish whom he can easily trap. He step back and giving me XYZ excuses.

I am really thankful to my business associate who told me that the same happens with him one month back. So my friends kindly be aware and deal safely.

Indian outsourcing horizon expands to Advertising functions; 80% growth foreseen

It is an undoubted fact that India still rules the global outsourcing industry and the new trend of global ad agencies outsourcing advertising functions to India, will definitely add to its charm. The upcoming buzz in the industry is that global advertising agencies are outsourcing their various activities either to their in-house subsidiaries or to partner firms in India. What attracts ad agencies to outsource their operations are the cost and operational efficiencies offered by the Indian market.

As per the Industry estimates the size of advertising outsourcing, i.e. including the outsourcing of services like creative, planning, digital creation and execution, data analysis, production and animation  would be around Rs 1000 crore.  It also suggests that, digital and search engine marketing holds the major share i.e. 70-80%, and this is expected to grow further. The industry experts foresee a growth rate of 80-90% in the future.
The ad agencies found that they were able to save up to 30-40% by outsourcing their various activities to India. Thanks to the factors like expertise in information technology, English speaking skills of people in India, ability to scale up operations, low cost and high turn around model of Indian outsourcing market have helped them to achieve considerable savings.
FMG, a New York based media agency specialized in print, digital and marketing services claimed that by outsourcing activities to their in-house hub in Chennai and Bangalore they can now enable clients to experiment with ideas at much lesser cost structures. According to various sources, FMG was able to bill their clients 20-30% less for the works done in India when compared to the same amount of work done in their home location.
Creative outsourcing like generating original idea for the campaigns, original print and television media campaigns or digital campaigns have not found enough space in the outsourcing  market like the back end works of the campaigns. This means that creative works are still being done outside India. However, a trend is seen where a campaign developed for Indian market is getting acceptance from for global clients for global markets too. Minute Maid campaign developed by Leo Burnett for Indian market can be cited as an example. One of the hot topics on our mailing list is fraudulent contracts. If you take a close look at any of these frauds you will infer that it is no different from any other scam.

1. There is no free lunch. We all have to work hard to earn money. If a consultant tells you that you can earn big bucks by investing a small amount, forget it.
2. Don’t get fooled by the half page/one page franchisee advertisements
3. Examine the credentials of the consultant. Majority of them have free email ids. Not a good sign.
4. Never give upfront money. If the consultant is so confident about the business, let him charge you a higher commission.
5. Take a copy of his passport if necessary and mention the passport number in the agreement you sign. They will think twice before cheating you.
6. Afix photographs of both parties on the agreement.
7. A consultant may approach you with contracts. He will tell you that the prospective client expects certain parameters to be met in a call centre before the client can outsource work. Guess what, this consultant will offer you to train your staff. Watch out!

How to avoid getting cheated? Simple, use common sense.
